Surrounding area: Ängbybadet is located in the south Ängby neighborhood in Bromma, west of Stockholm. It is also very close to the Judarskogens nature preserve and camping sites. There is a small food stand on the beach. There is paid parking nearby.

Features: This is a fully featured beach with a lot to do in the summer.

A small playground with basic features:
  • A swing set with a bucket swing and three tire swings
  • A pretend play boat on springs
  • Four spring riders
  • There is also beach volleyball and an open field for sports play

  • A waterslide (100kr for 12 rides, Summer 2019)
  • A minigolf course (additional cost)
  • Beach volleyball court
  • Three docks and two swimming platforms
  • Public grills
  • Water toy rentals
Safety: There are life preservers near the water and a barrier in the summer to prevent swimmers from venturing too far from shore.

Shade: There are trees that provide shade over a large area just before the sand.

Seating: There are benches around the beach area.

Picnic area: There are public grills and picnic tables around the beach. There is also a lot of open grass area to lay a blanket.

Restroom and changing table: There are restrooms in the summer and additional temporary toilets.

Strollers and bikes: There are bike racks near the minigolf and place to bring and park a stroller. The path to the beach is paved.
