Surrounding area: Fruktlekparken is located just next to the Liljeholmen tramway station. Liljeholmen city center is located just next to the park and there are a number of shops and restaurants available there. The playground also overlooks Trekanten, a small lake in the south of Stockholm.

Age groups: The playground is appropriate for preschool and middle school children.

Features: The playground is fruit themed and the majority of the structures are in the shape of fruit.
The playground features include:
  • A banana slide
  • Three spinning strawberries
  • A see-saw orange
  • Three small pear play houses
  • A watermelon climbing structure
  • A spinning apple
  • A small bunch of cherries for climbing
  • A cherry lamp
  • A pineapple climbing structure
  • An un-themed swing set including a bucket swing as well as a basket swing
Accessibility: The playground has a basket swing but does not have other accessible equipment.

Safety: All of the structures at the playground are built on rubber padding.

Shade: There are many trees around the playground providing some natural shade.

Seating: There are several benches and structures for seating around the playground, including some sized for children.

Picnic area: There are no picnic tables in the playground but a fair amount of grass surrounding the lake for picnics.

Restroom and changing table: Just 3 minutes walk away, across Liljeholmensvägen from the train station there is an automatic toilet with a changing table .

Strollers and bikes: There is no designated stroller parking but there is space to bring and park a stroller. There are bike racks in front of the train station.
