Surrounding area: Fyrenparken is located in Johanneshov, south of Stockholm center. There are shops and restaurants near the Kärrtorp subway station.

Age groups: The playground is most appropriate for preschool and middle school children.

Features: Fyrenparken is a nautical themed playground. The primary feature of the playground is the large lighthouse structure with a slide from the design group Monstrum which also designed Uggleparken. Next to the playground there is also an open school, Fyrens Öppna Förskola, with a nice indoor area for children 0 to 5 (for more information go to their Facebook pages here).

Accessibility: The playground has basket swings but does not have other accessible equipment.

Safety: This playground is not fenced in. There is soft rubber, tanbark or sand under the structures. The toddler area is entirely fenced in.

Shade: The main areas are open but there also are some trees that provide some shade.

Seating: There are benches through the playground.

Picnic area: There is a picnic table in the playground as well as a covered picnic area. There is also a public grill.

Restroom and changing table: There are restrooms at the open school adjacent to the park. During summer, there is a temporary restroom.

Strollers and bikes: There are bike racks and space to bring and park a stroller.
