Krubbans Lekplats

Surrounding area: Krubbans Lekplats is located in the Östermalm neighborhood in Stockholm center. There are shops and restaurants near the Karlaplan subway station.

Age groups: The playground is most appropriate for preschool and middle school children.

Features: This is a small historical playground of the Krubban neighborhood. It is designed so visitor experience travel through time from the 1600's to today.
The playground features include:
  • An old pretend play bus in a sand pit
  • An Esso station themed structure with a large tube slide and pretend car wash
  • A large spinning hand structure
  • A large house structure with a horse in it that children can sit on
  • A large mirror structure with a horse coming out of it
  • A small wooden play house with kitchen
  • A small wooden calf
  • A windmill structure
  • A climbing bridge and crawling tube
Accessibility: This playground does not have accessible equipment.

Safety: The playground is entirely fenced in and visibility is good.

Shade: The playground is very well shaded with two large trees in the center.

Seating: There are benches in the playground.

Picnic area: There are picnic tables outside the playground.

Restroom and changing table: There are no restrooms in this playground but there is a public restroom on Karlavägen about eight minutes walking. It is in front of the ICA supermarket.

Strollers and bikes: There are bike racks outside the fenced area and place to bring and park a stroller.
