Surrounding area: Lurparken is located in the Midsommarkransen neighborhood south of Stockholm. It is in a primarily residential area but there are a few shops and restaurants around the Telefonplan train station.

Age groups: The playground is most appropriate for preschool and middle school children.

Features: The playground has a number of interesting chrome structures and a focus on sound. The playground features include:
  • A network of tubes for speaking into
  • A large gramophone shaped music box
  • Two long marble runs
  • A sand pit with two large chrome rocks
  • Two spring riders
  • Two large chrome climbing structures
  • A green metal climbing structure
  • A 360 degree basket swing
  • Stepping stones
  • A large wooden lookout tower
Accessibility: The playground has a basket swing but does not have other accessible equipment.

Safety: The playground is not fenced in. All structures are on soft ground, padding or sand.

Shade: The playground is very well shaded with many trees and surrounding buildings.

Seating: There are a number of benches around the park.

Picnic area: There are no picnic tables in the park.

Restroom and changing table: There is an automatic toilet just a few minutes walk away at the intersection of Telefonvägen and Mikrofonvägen near the Telefonplan subway station.

Strollers and bikes: There are no bike racks at this playground and no specific stroller parking.
