Surrounding area: Stockholms Stadsbibliotek is one of Stockholm's main libraries. It is located in an active area between Odenplan and Rådmansgatan subway station .

The library: The library houses about 400,000 books and has a large children's wing. The main draw of the library is its unique architecture with a large cylindrical atrium in the center. The building and surrounding park are protected monuments in Sweden.

Children's area: The children's area is a large wing on the west side of the library. There is a room dedicated to young adult fiction and graphic novels, a large picture book room, and two small play rooms. There are board games for use in the picture book room and there are often activity materials for children that want to draw or do crafts.
Activities: Many activities are currently canceled due to COVID-19 or require pre-booking.

Play area: There is a small play area and a reading room. The play area typically has some toys and dress up clothes but these have been temporarily removed du to COVID-19. The reading room has a large mural and seating.

Picnic area: There is a small café in the library but outside food is not welcomed.

Restroom and changing table: There are paid restrooms in the library including a restroom in the children's area.

Strollers and bikes: There is a designated stroller parking area just outside the children's area. There are bike racks just outside the library.
