Tornparkens Lekplats

Surrounding area: Tornparkens Lekplats is located in Sundbyberg, north of Stockholm. There are shops and restaurants around the Duvbo subway station but the Sundbyberg center is also just a five minute walk from the playground with more shops and restaurants.

Age groups: The playground is most appropriate for preschool and middle school children.

Features: This is a very popular destination in Sundbyberg because of the wading pool and fund structures.

  • A tower themed climbing structure with a rope bridge and slide
  • A large dragonfly themed climbing structure
  • A small house themed climbing structure with a small slide
  • A spinning mushroom structure
  • Lilly pad climbing platforms
  • A trampoline
  • A wood and rope climbing structure
  • A swing set with two standard swings, two bucket swings, and a tandem swing for children and parents.
  • A climbing bar structure
  • A large tube slide
  • A sand pit with play table
  • A wooden crocodile
  • A small stage
Accessibility: This playground does not have accessible equipment.

Safety: The playground is not fenced in. Visibility is good across the playground except at the end of the tube slide because it is down a small hill..

Shade: There is not a lot of shade at this playground since it is very open. The stage is covered.

Seating: There are benches through the playground and a ledge to sit on near the swings.

Picnic area: There are covered picnic tables in the playground.

Restroom and changing table: There is a restroom next to the wading pool.

Strollers and bikes: There are bike racks on either side of the playground and space to bring and park a stroller.
