Surrounding area: Trollparken is located in Årsta, on the south side of Stockholm. The area is primarily residential but you will find a grocery store on Sköntorpsvägen. The playground is inside the Årstaskogen nature preserve and is heavily wooded with some running and hiking paths.

Age groups: The playground is most appropriate for preschool and middle school children.

Features: The primary feature of this playground is the woods. There is a mostly untouched forest surround a small playground.

  • A log climbing structure
  • A basket swing
  • A caterpillar spring rider
  • A dirt BMX track
Accessibility: The playground has a basket swing but does not have other accessible equipment.

Safety: The playground is not fenced in. Because it is located in a heavily wooded area, visibility is low.

Shade: The playground is very well shaded.

Seating: There are some benches within the playground and along a nearby walking path.

Picnic area: There is no designated picnic area in this playground but there are many places to set a blanket for a picnic.

Restroom and changing table: There are no nearby restrooms at this playground.
